About this event
I'll be teaching a painting class intensive in October... 4 classes in two weeks. Topics will include composition, drawing, color, tone/value, edges, brushwork and palette knife work. The building blocks of a successful painting!
I'll be using oils and demonstrating in that medium. If you prefer, you can use acrylics or gouache. Each class will have a short lecture to start and then you'll put those principles into action as you work on your individual painting. Some art history will also be part of the class, as I focus on a particular artist that was a master of the 'topic of the day'.
The class will be in Garibaldi Oregon. We'll meet October 14, 16, 21 & 23... Each Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm. It will be a very small class so lots of time for individual attention.
