and local purveyors of good stuff ;-) We just turned the page to September... and the fresh fruits and veggies here are incredible this time of year. Not to be missed!
Being at the Manzanita Farmers Market every week this summer, I have had a front row seat of what's in season. It only makes sense that I've been painting it, and then eating it, of course...

A win-win... Its ALL been awesome. I've painted - and eaten - strawberries, rainbow Swiss chard, beets, cherries, fresh eggs, smoked salmon, croissants, fresh sourdough bread, homemade jam, tuna fish, corn on the cob, tomatoes, carrots and apricots (painting in process on my easel above). And I'm not done yet...
I'm at the Manzanita Farmers Market painting every Friday through the end of September, from 4 pm to 7 pm. Come by and say Hi.

Our NEW children's book is on display too -"There's A Weasel On My Easel!" - both hard and soft cover. Other items for you to see in person... the Coastal Coloring book and paint-by-number kit I created, along with notecard sets, art cards, postcards, stickers and more. I always have a few original paintings on display as well.
I'm doing my best to spread art and creativity into the world - one person at a time.

So I'm also making large scale (3' square) coloring pages - a community coloring activity - for your coloring pleasure at the Manzanita Market each week. You'll find it set out on a table near the entrance to promote community creativity. A fun group activity for all ages!
Below are a couple examples of community coloring pages I've created, inspired by my paintings from last year at the Market...

The Manzanita Farmers Market is a particularly fun community event. Come join in the coloring. Support your local farmers and makers. There's incredible food and local goods to be had... AND live music on the stage each week. What more could you want on a Friday evening?!

Stop by... I'm easy to find... I'll be painting right across from the band.
