Guess what I have in my hands?!

Our brand new children's book - in 3D!!! There's A Weasel On My Easel! written and illustrated by myself and my daughter. After so many edits, revisions, tweaking, rhyming, more paintings, re-writing and rough drafts galore, the final version is HERE!!!

Phew! I didn't realize what an effort it would be to make this happen. But that's how most things in my life have come to be. Best I don't realize what I'm getting into until I'm chin deep. At that point, my determination kicks in - some may call it stubbornness. Either way, I keep trudging through the muck to the finish line.

(P.S. Do NOT think it's always a good solution to 'just keep going'. I have been burned by the Sunk Cost Fallacy too.)

But this gargantuan ball of effort seems to be wrapping up into a neat tidy hard cover package. Look where we are... the finish line is in sight!

Next step, I'll look it over carefully with my daughter tomorrow. Then, maybe just maybe, it will finally be, actually, totally, completely, D O N E.
